About The Program
The program is divided into two parts:
It is a certificate from the authorizing Sheikh to the student who has been approved for reciting that he has memorized the entire Qur’an by heart with intonation and mastery of the approved narration or narrations, and he has become qualified to recite it. By obtaining this authorization, the reciter has connected his chain of transmission to the Prophet – may Allah bless him and grant him peace – and has become part of the chain of transmitters of the book of Allah Almighty, and it includes the ten frequent recitations.
The Ten Recitations: These are the frequent, agreed-upon recitations known in books of this particular art such as Al-Shatibiyyah, Al-Durrah, and Al-Tayyiba, which were narrated by ten imams known for accuracy and trustworthiness, namely Nafi’, Ibn Kathir, Abu Amr, Ibn Amer, Asim, Hamzah, Al-Kisa’i, and Abu Jaafar, Jacob, and Khalaf.
Also As Part Of The Ten Recitations: A science of the Holy Qur’an concerned with studying how to pronounce the Qur’an as the Companions received it from the Prophet, may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him. It has become famous for reciting and memorizing the letters of the Holy Qur’an that have been repeatedly transmitted by ten trustworthy and proven imams, all of whom took the letter of the Qur’an from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him, with the chain of transmission connected to him.
It is one of the ways of conveying the hadith and the forms of performance in a clear and important way in spreading the purified Sunnah of the Prophet, and keeping the chain of transmission connected with all ends, which is considered an honor and one of the characteristics of this Muslim community, unlike any other community. It connects the successor of this community to its predecessors, and its last to its beginning, and connects them to their Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, with a solid rope.
